HillView Care operates two premium boutique aged care residences on the Gold Coast, located in Merrimac and Ashmore. With nearly 30 years of experience in the industry, we are dedicated to providing our residents with the highest quality of nursing care and standard of living.

Scope of Position The Roster Coordinator is responsible for developing, managing, and maintaining staff rosters while adhering to industry regulations and standards.

Role Specific Knowledge

- General Understanding of the Aged Care System, the New Aged Care Quality Standards and the Aged Care Statement of Rights.
- Understanding of the needs of an aged care facility and its residents
- Knowledge and competency in building, compiling and maintaining fortnightly staff rosters
- Knowledge of and competence in business support platforms, including Citation HR,



Emprevo and Care Systems will be highly regarded

Experience and Key Criteria

- Previous experience working within an Aged Care setting or similar
- Proven experience with rostering large volumes of staff (approx. 300)
- Ability to handle last minute roster changes due to unplanned absences
- Understanding of enterprise agreements and the Fair Work Act
- Team player with a collaborative approach and a cheerful, co-operative attitude

- Attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to account for and control allocation of staffing
- Pro-active, outcome driven and demonstrate initiative

- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritise accordingly

- Ability to maintain confidentiality
