First / Second Year Litigation Solicitor

First to Second Year SOLICITOR in a boutique legal practice in Bacchus Marsh, specializing in the area of Family Law and Intervention Order Litigation for secure permanent full-time position of 5 days per week (Monday to Friday) from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm with great prospects of career advancement.

Ideal candidate will have the following attributes:

Have a passion in the area of law, taking a hands-on approach in client/file management and enjoy doing your own court appearances, having first hand satisfaction of obtaining results needed and wanted by clients;

Must have at least 6 months experience as a Solicitor, in particular, have experience with client appointments, running matter files from start to end and attending own court appearances;

Must have already be admitted not only in the Supreme Court of Victoria but also in High Court,



and have a current practicing certificate;

Must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, ability to follow established office administration / procedures and Works well as individual and in small team;

Must have experience in using Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook - emails, calendar, tasks, and Excel), Leap Legal Software and Ricoh Printer;

Training to enhance your Solicitor skills or Court Advocacy skills will be provided as needed;

Preference will be given to person already accepted as solicitor under 29A Panel of Victoria Legal Aid Family Law; and

Remuneration negotiable and dependent on experience.
