Ooralea Dental Care is looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Dental Assistant to join our growing team in Mackay.

We are a busy, progressive practice that combines high-quality patient care with modern technology, advanced dentistry and a solid team culture. We work together, support each other and take pride in creating a great experience for both our patients and our team.

This position requires availability across the following hours:

- Monday: 7:30am - 5:30pm
- Tuesday: 7:30am - 5:30pm
- Thursday: 8:30am - 6:30pm
- Friday: 7:30am - 5:30pm
- Alternate Saturdays: 8:30am - 1:30pm

We are looking for someone who wants to become a valued part of our team - not just someone looking for "a job".

What you’ll be doing

- Chairside assisting across a variety of dental procedures
- Preparing surgeries and maintaining high infection-control standards
- Sterilisation and instrument reprocessing
- Supporting our dentists throughout treatment
- Taking and preparing clinical records, photos and other documentation
- Assisting with our digital dentistry and up-to-date clinical technology
- Helping create a welcoming and comfortable experience for every patient
- Keeping surgeries organised, clean and ready for the next patient
- Working closely with the wider team to keep the day running efficiently
