About the role

Reporting directly to the Board of Directors, you will provide strategic and operational leadership across BOBBAC, ensuring the organisation continues to thrive while remaining grounded in its cultural values and community priorities.

Your key responsibilities will include:

- Driving organisational strategy, growth and operational excellence.
- Leading financial management, governance,



compliance and organisational sustainability.
- Supporting the protection of Arakwal Country, Native Title interests and cultural heritage.
- Building strong relationships with Traditional Owners, community, government and key stakeholders.
- Leading, mentoring and developing a high-performing, culturally respectful team.
- Identifying new funding, partnership and development opportunities.

About you

We are seeking an authentic, confident and commercially astute leader who combines strong management capability with genuine cultural understanding.

You will bring:

- Significant senior management or executive leadership experience, ideally within an Aboriginal Corporation, community-controlled or not-for-profit organisation.
- Proven financial, operational and strategic management skills.
- Demonstrated experience working effectively with Aboriginal communities and a strong understanding of Aboriginal culture and heritage.
- Strong governance, stakeholder engagement and people leadership capabilities.
- The ability to balance strategic vision with practical, hands-on leadership.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent professional experience.

Experience in Native Title, land management or cultural heritage will be highly regarded.
