ASJ Tech is looking for an experienced Senior Scrum Master with a robust technical and cyber security background to lead the delivery of cyber security compliance work for a major Federal Government agency.
You’ll manage, coordinate and deliver cyber security work packages, including governance of Essential Eight scanning and patching across every component in the service path. You’ll keep the team moving and make sure SLAs are met. This role suits a Scrum Master who understands what a vulnerability scan actually tells you and can drive patching across multiple ICT teams.
What you’ll do
- Manage the delivery of cyber security work packages under the Digital ID Act 2024.
- Run daily stand-ups and coach team members.
- Manage triage of daily scan results.
- Coordinate patching and governance across ICT stakeholders.
- Ensure SLAs are met for Essential Eight patching and scanning.
What you’ll bring
- 3+ years’ experience as a Scrum Master in Agile.
- 3+ years’ experience with Jira.
- Agile certification, such as PSM, CSM or SAFe.
Highly regarded
- Cyber security project experience or Essential Eight experience.
- A technical background in vulnerability scanning and patch management.
- Prior experience as a systems analyst.

- Start date: 1 January 2027
- Contract: up to 12 months, with extensions up to a maximum of 24 months
- Level: APS6–EL1 equivalent
- Location: Canberra, Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane. Onsite full-time for the first 6 weeks, then hybrid.
- Clearance: must be able to obtain Baseline (Australian citizens only)
