General Foreman / Fitout Foreman – $140m Commercial Project
Surry Hills, Sydney | Immediate Start | Major Commercial Project An established commercial head contractor is looking for an experienced General Foreman / Fitout Foreman to join its delivery team on a $140m commercial office project in Surry Hills.
The project is currently transitioning from structure into fitout, and we're looking for someone who can hit the ground running, coordinate trades and maintain momentum through the next stage of delivery.
This is a great opportunity to join an established project team, with potential for ongoing opportunities within the business.
The Role
Reporting to an experienced Senior Site Manager, you'll work alongside other Foremen, Site Engineers, Leading Hands and Safety Coordinators.
Responsibilities will include
- Managing and coordinating internal fitout trades and subcontractors.
- Overseeing day-to-day site activities, sequencing and programme delivery.
- Coordinating remaining structural works alongside the fitout programme.
- Maintaining quality, safety and productivity across allocated work areas.
- Working closely with the wider site team to resolve delivery issues.
- Ensuring works are completed in line with programme and quality requirements.
About You
- Experience as a General Foreman, Fitout Foreman or all-round Foreman.
- Proven commercial construction experience with a head contractor.
- Solid understanding of fitout sequencing, trade coordination and finishing works.
- Ability to manage subcontractors and drive programme outcomes.
- Strong communication skills and a hands-on approach to site delivery.
- Available immediately or at short notice.
