We’re seeking a Sterilising Team Leader to join our passionate team of technicians, supporting best-in-class reprocessing of Reusable Medical Devices (RMDs) at our state-of-the-art facility in Epping VIC.

As an outsourced sterilisation service provider, Sterequip has infection prevention is at the heart of everything we do—and we’re looking for a capable, motivated leader to drive service excellence and support our clients.

Your Role

As Team Leader, you will report to the Sterilising Services Manager and be responsible for:

- Leading the daily operations of our sterilising team to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality service delivery.
- Overseeing compliance with AS 5369 and participating in quality audits.
- Monitoring team performance and producing timely and accurate reports.
- Supporting a culture of safety in line with Work Health and Safety legislation.
- Working collaboratively across shifts in a 24/7 operation.
- Driving continuous improvement and process changes when required.
- Undertake other duties as directed.

Your Skills & Experience

We’re looking for someone with:

- Certificate III or IV in Sterilisation Technology (required).
- Expertise in perioperative instruments and sterilisation/disinfection techniques (required).
- Minimum 2 years Sterilising Team Leader experience (required).




- Strong knowledge of relevant standards, guidelines, and technologies.
- Solid written and verbal communication skills.
- Computer proficiency and experience with tracking and reporting systems.
- Leadership experience in a high-performance or healthcare environment (highly regarded).
