About The Company/n Our client is a water and irrigation-focused business serving retail and trade customers in Townsville and the surrounding region. The store supports practical solutions across irrigation, pumps and water management, combining customer service with technical know-how. About the Opportunity/n Our client is seeking an experienced Store Manager to lead the day-to-day operations and performance of their Townsville store.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys working with people and customers, while also bringing practical knowledge to support irrigation, pumping and water management advice. /n Some of your responsibilities will include: /n /n

- Lead, coach and roster the retail team to hit store targets

/n

- Achieve monthly sales and profit budgets

/n

- Build strong relationships with trade customers, suppliers and subcontractors

/n

- Advise customers on irrigation, pump and water solutions, including diagnosing issues

/n

- Manage stock, purchasing, store presentation and OH&S; compliance





/n About You/n The successful candidate will have a customer-focused leadership style and the ability to balance operational performance with practical technical support for irrigation and water management solutions. /n You will ideally have: /n /n

- 3–5 years’ retail management experience

/n

- Certificate III in Irrigation (or equivalent)

/n

- Strong pump and irrigation knowledge, including diagnosing issues

/n

- Current Class C driver’s licence

/n

- Flexible to work some weekends and travel occasionally

/n /n Desirable: /n /n

- Background in irrigation, plumbing or water management retail

/n

- Commercial or agricultural experience
