About the Role

Great leadership changes lives. As a Team Leader with Kanda, you'll play an important role in supporting and guiding a team to deliver safe, high-quality, person-centred care. You'll create an workplace where team members feel valued, supported and empowered, while ensuring the people we support receive consistent, meaningful care that helps them achieve their goals.

In this role, you'll be responsible for:

- Leading, guiding and supporting your team to deliver safe, person-centred support that makes a positive difference in people's lives
- Creating a positive team culture where employees feel valued, motivated and confident in delivering high-quality care




- Coordinating day-to-day operations to ensure services run smoothly and provide a safe, welcoming and well-organised environment
- Building strong relationships with clients, families, carers and internal stakeholders to support consistent and responsive service delivery
- Coaching and developing team members, building their confidence, strengthening their skills and encouraging positive outcomes

Availability

- Availability: Full availability Monday to Sunday is essential, with shifts rostered between 8:00am and 4:00pm
- Location: Must be available to work across Mareeba and Atherton

Requirements:

- Current Australian driver's licence (minimum P2)
- Current Working with Children Blue Card and NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Previous experience as a Team Leader in an SDA/SIL setting
- Strong understanding of complex health care needs and behaviour support
- Excellent communication, organisational and administrative skills
- Ability to work collaboratively and adapt to changing client needs
