Trade Assistant Workshop - Melbourne East (Hallam)

We are currently seeking a really motivated person to look after the duties in the yard and workshop area of our business and assist our technicians as required. If you are a team player and want to become part of a fantastic team, this is the role that you have been looking for with a great working environment.

You will be able to demonstrate a proven track record in being able to multitask and work with minimal supervision. Understanding the importance of exceeding customer expectation on delivery is an essential criteria.

The Trade Assistant will assist and work as part of a team to provide maintenance and trade service support to the branch at Hallam VIC, the position may be required to undertake general duties and/or as directed by the Service Manager.

What You'll Be Doing:

- General labouring and housekeeping across the yard and workshop
- Refuelling equipment and steam cleaning machinery
- Load testing and documenting battery condition on equipment
- Assisting tradespeople within the workshop
- Reporting customer damage on equipment
- Other general duties as directed by the Service Manager

About You:

- Current driver's licence (essential)
- High Risk Forklift Licence (essential)
- Elevating Work Platform Licence (essential)
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual tasks




- Someone who takes initiative and doesn't need to be micromanaged
- Good communication and ability to follow procedures
- Experience with hand tools
