I'm looking for an experienced Health & Safety Contractor to join a construction project in Moorebank, Sydney.

This is an immediate requirement, with work secured through to Christmas and the potential to extend into January, depending on the project programme.

You'll be site-based, working in a client environment with a strict Tier 1-style WHS management system. They need someone who can hit the ground running, build good relationships with the client and subcontractors, and help keep the project running safely.

What's in it for you?

- $60–$90/hr + GST, depending on experience
- Immediate start
- Contract through to Christmas, with potential extension into January
- Monday to Friday, approximately 6:15am–4:00pm
- Site-based role with an established construction team

The Role: You'll work closely with the Site Supervisor and subcontractors, with a solid focus on site safety, permits and daily compliance. Your responsibilities will include:

- Managing the client's permit system, including applications, daily sign-ons and sign-offs
- Working with the Site Supervisor to understand upcoming works and plan permit requirements




- Walking the site and checking PPE, SWMS and permit compliance
- Liaising with the client and subcontractors on a daily basis
- Identifying safety issues and addressing them proactively
- Supporting daily deliveries, materials handling and site organisation
- Maintaining good housekeeping and site standards
- Completing Life Card inspections through the client's system

What You'll Bring:

- Previous H&S; experience within commercial or industrial construction
- Strong understanding of WHS systems, permits and SWMS
- Experience working within Tier 1 or highly regulated site environments
- Confident communicating with clients, subcontractors and site teams
- Organised, proactive and comfortable working autonomously
- Ability to build relationships quickly and hit the ground running
- Available for an immediate start
