This is a fantastic prospect to secure a long-term position with a growing business, offering a competitive salary of $110,000–$130,000 depending on experience, plus a $5,000 bonus upon successful completion of your probation period.

About the Role

Working within a well-equipped workshop, you'll be responsible for servicing, maintaining, diagnosing and repairing a range of hydraulic and mechanical equipment. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Servicing, fault finding and repairing hydraulic components and systems
- Stripping, resealing and rebuilding hydraulic cylinders, pumps and motors
- Carrying out hydraulic PTO installations and fit-outs on road transport vehicles
- Installing, maintaining and repairing lubrication systems
- Diagnosing mechanical and hydraulic faults and completing repairs
- Supporting other workshop personnel when required
- Maintaining a safe,



clean and organised workshop environment
- Following all workplace safety procedures and standards

What We're Looking For

We're looking for a reliable, hands-on fitter who takes pride in their work and can confidently tackle a variety of mechanical and hydraulic repairs. To be successful, you'll ideally have:
- Relevant mechanical trade qualification and strong hands-on experience
- Solid knowledge of hydraulic and mechanical systems
- Experience servicing and repairing hydraulic cylinders, pumps and motors
- Current MR Driver's Licence and Forklift Licence
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- A positive attitude and commitment to workplace safety
- Full Australian working rights and reliable transport
