Hi-Impulse Equipment Pty Ltd is an established, family-owned precision manufacturing company based in Newcastle, with a long history in the manufacturing industry.

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Fitter Machinist to join our busy manufacturing workshop.

Our workshop operates CNC lathes, Milling machines and robotic Laser + Mig welding. featuring a diverse range of machinery and control systems, including Mazak Integrex and DN Solutions machines equipped with Fanuc controls.

### Key Responsibilities

- CNC programming, tool setting and machine operation.
- Independently programming, setting up and operating CNC lathes and milling machines.
- Working with various CNC control systems, including Fanuc and Mazak.
- Performing routine machinery maintenance, troubleshooting and general upkeep.
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
- Selecting appropriate tooling, machining strategies and cutting parameters.
- Maintaining high standards of precision, quality and productivity.
- Managing multiple jobs and priorities while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.

### Essential Skills & Experience

- Trade-qualified Fitter Machinist or equivalent experience.
- Robust Fanuc CNC programming and operating experience is essential.
- Proven CNC programming and tool-setting capabilities.




- Experience with CNC turning and/or milling operations.
- Ability to independently program, set up and complete machining jobs from start to finish.
- Excellent mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multitask effectively in a busy manufacturing environment.
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Reliable, self-motivated and capable of working with minimal supervision.

Experience with Mazak Integrex and other CNC control systems will be highly regarded.
