About Our Client

Our leading global mining and resource client is Australia's largest producer and supplier of seaborne metallurgical coal. With over 100 years of operation within Australia, they mine metallurgical coal across seven sites within their Queensland Operations in the Bowen Basin with with local, DIDO and FIFO opportunities available.

What You Will Be Doing

We are seeking experienced Longwall Fitters to join a high-performing underground maintenance team. This is a hands-on role responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, fault finding, and repairing longwall equipment to ensure safe and efficient underground mining operations.

Working a 7/7 rotating roster of day and night shifts, you will be part of a skilled maintenance crew focused on maximising equipment reliability while maintaining the highest safety standards.

What You Will Need

- Queensland Mechanical Trade Certificate (Fitter)
- Hydraulic Fluid Power Competency
- Current Standard 11
- Current Coal Board Medical
- Demonstrated underground coal mining experience
- Current Driver's Licence




- Updated Resume displaying relevant underground experience
- Strong commitment to safety and teamwork
- Ability to pass site-specific requirements
