Senior IAM Architect | Advisory & Pre-Sales

Hybrid role based in your choice of Brisbane, Adelaide or Perth.

RockIT Recruitment is partnering with a specialist identity security consultancy to hire two Senior IAM Architects. You’ll lead customer discovery, design enterprise identity solutions and turn those designs into scoped, estimated proposals that customers can approve and delivery teams can execute.

The role combines hands-on architecture, billable advisory and technical pre-sales. You’ll work with CISOs, customer engineering teams, Sales and Delivery on identity programmes across critical infrastructure, energy, government and other regulated sectors.

What you’ll do

- Lead discovery workshops, assess identity risks and recommend solutions across IAM, identity governance (IGA) and privileged access management (PAM).
- Design solutions covering identity lifecycle, access governance, federation, MFA and privileged access.
- Own the technical content of Statements of Work and tender responses, including scope,



deliverables, assumptions, dependencies, acceptance criteria and effort estimates.
- Translate SOCI, AESCSF and Essential Eight requirements into practical identity controls.
- Advise customers on identity roadmaps and provide design assurance to delivery teams.

What you’ll bring

- Senior, hands-on enterprise identity architecture experience across IAM, IGA and PAM.
- Customer-facing consulting or advisory experience and the confidence to explain and defend your design decisions with CISOs and technical teams.
- Experience leading discovery, scoping and estimation, and personally writing technical content for customer-ready SoWs or tenders.
- Practical experience with several identity platforms, such as SailPoint, Saviynt, CyberArk, Delinea, Okta, Microsoft Entra ID or Entra ID Governance, Silverfort and CrowdStrike.
