In this role, you'll:

- Safely operate vehicular ferries to transport passengers, vehicles and goods across NSW waterways.
- Coordinate day-to-day ferry operations, including workforce support, shift coverage and service continuity.
- Train, mentor and support ferry operators to develop skills and achieve required licences and competencies.
- Conduct vessel and site inspections, report defects and coordinate maintenance activities.
- Maintain operational records and ensure compliance with maritime, safety and environmental requirements.
- Deliver excellent customer service and assist in responding to incidents, emergencies and service disruptions.

About you

You are a safety-focused and customer-oriented operations professional with experience working in frontline operational environments. You have robust communication and leadership skills,



enjoy supporting and developing team members, and can confidently coordinate day-to-day activities to ensure services run safely and efficiently.

You will bring:

- Experience working in an operational or safety-critical environment.
- Strong leadership, coaching and people management skills.
- The ability to coordinate service delivery, respond to operational issues and prioritise competing demands.
- A commitment to safety, compliance and customer service excellence.
- Sound administrative and record-keeping skills, including the use of computer-based systems.
- The ability to work independently, make decisions and adapt to changing operational requirements.
