- Provide in office engineering support for installation,
testing and commissioning activities.
- Coordinate with external engineers, consultants, certifiers, designers and fabricators where required.
- Follow and contribute to engineering standards, drawing control, technical documentation and document control processes.
- Ensure engineering solutions consider safety, compliance, maintainability, transportability and operational practicality.
- Plan and deliver your engineering work to meet project schedules and business requirements.
- Support continuous improvement of asset designs, standard builds, technical documentation and quality systems.
- Identify and elevate engineering risks and improvement opportunities.
About you
- A tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
- Demonstrated project engineering experience, preferably within power generation, electrical systems, generator packages, fabrication or industrial projects.
- Strong practical, hands‑on and on‑site engineering experience.
- Working knowledge of relevant Australian Standards, including AS/NZS 3000.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, with experience in Inventor and/or Revit highly regarded.
- Experience with control systems and PLCs highly regarded.
- RPEQ Electrical registration desirable, or the ability and willingness to work towards registration.
- Strong design review, technical problem‑solving and documentation skills.
