Our client, an established engineering consultancy, is seeking an Instrumentation Supervisor to support one of their major greenfield mineral sands projects. This is a critical role, as the project is about to commence construction on the process plant and infrastructure.

Role Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate the performance, progress, and quality of instrumentation work carried out by contractors.

Verify that all on-site electrical and instrumentation work meets technical standards and quality expectations.

Monitor contractors while ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and project schedules.

Review and assess incoming electrical and instrumentation engineering drawings, evaluating any schedule impacts resulting from design changes.

Identify and report quality assurance issues to the engineering team, assisting in the development and implementation of inspection and testing programs to address concerns.

Conduct regular assessments of physical progress, working alongside contractors to agree on status updates during weekly reviews.

Ensure all work complies with Australian standards, site safety procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Provide leadership, mentorship,



and technical support to electricians and E&I; technicians.

Supervise work progress, enforce quality control measures, and ensure deadlines are met.

Conduct inspections, troubleshoot issues, and resolve faults in electrical and control systems, including PLCs, SCADA, motors, and conveyors.

Work closely with engineering, mechanical, and operations teams to enhance on-site execution and efficiency.

What you'll have:

Cert II or IV in Instrumentation

Supervisory experience on large-scale mineral processing projects

Solid understanding of material handling equipment

Proficiency with PLC/SCADA systems, VSDs, motor control systems, and high-voltage equipment.
