About the role
As the Sustainability Project Advisor, you will support Perth Airport’s commitment to delivering sustainable infrastructure projects and achieving sustainability certification targets across our development portfolio. Working within the Sustainability Team, you will help develop and improve sustainability frameworks, governance processes and management systems that embed sustainability throughout the project lifecycle. Partnering with project teams, contractors and key stakeholders, you will provide guidance, oversight and assurance to help deliver practical, measurable and long-term sustainability outcomes. You will be responsible for the following:
* Support the development and continual improvement of sustainability governance frameworks, systems,



tools and processes that embed sustainability across Perth Airport’s project portfolio.
* Partner with project teams and stakeholders to provide sustainability guidance, assurance and support, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and certification requirements.
* Undertake sustainability assessments and reviews at key project stages, including the review of project documentation, Sustainability Management Plans and project reporting.
* Monitor sustainability performance, analyse data and contribute to reporting and dashboard development to identify trends, risks, opportunities and continuous improvement initiatives.
* Develop practical tools, guidance and resources that build sustainability capability and support the effective management of sustainability and climate-related risks throughout the project lifecycle.About You You will bring experience in sustainability, infrastructure projects or environmental management, together with a strong understanding of sustainability frameworks and certification schemes. You are a collaborative and proactive professional who can influence stakeholders and translate sustainability requirements into practical project outcomes. To be successful in this role, you will have:
* A relevant tertiary qualification in Sustainability, Environmental Management, Engineering, Architecture or a related discipline,



together with experience in sustainability and/or infrastructure projects.
* Strong knowledge of sustainability rating tools and certification frameworks such as Green Star, Infrastructure Sustainability (IS), NABERS and WELL.
* Experience supporting sustainability governance, assurance processes or reporting frameworks within project environments.
* Strong analytical, reporting and organisational skills, with the ability to interpret sustainability data, provide meaningful insights and manage competing priorities.
* Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with a proactive and team-oriented approach to building relationships, influencing outcomes and supporting sustainability objectives across projects.Why Join Perth Airport?
