An opportunity is available for an experienced Logistics professional to join a global business delivering large-scale solar and renewable energy projects across Australia. With products shipped into Australia from overseas, this role will take ownership of the logistics process from international shipping and port arrival through to final delivery at project sites nationally. This is a busy, high-volume position suited to someone who enjoys working at pace, managing multiple shipments simultaneously and keeping project teams informed. You'll work closely with freight forwarders, shipping lines, customs brokers, transport providers and internal project teams to ensure deliveries are coordinated and project timelines are supported.

The Role

- Manage end-to-end logistics from international shipment through to delivery at project sites across Australia.
- Coordinate high volumes of international and domestic shipments across sea, air and road freight.
- Liaise with freight forwarders, shipping lines and customs brokers to manage shipments, documentation and clearance processes.
- Coordinate port collections, container movements, trucking, warehousing and final deliveries to project sites.
- Act as the key logistics contact for Project Managers and Delivery Manager, providing regular updates on shipment status, delivery timing and potential delays.
- Manage transport providers and 3PLs, monitoring delivery performance and addressing issues as they arise.
- Track shipments and proactively identify and resolve logistical challenges before they impact project schedules.
- Maintain accurate shipment records, tracking systems and regular reporting to give project teams clear visibility of deliveries.
- Monitor logistics costs and delivery performance, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and service.

About You





You’ll be an organised and proactive logistics professional with experience managing international and domestic freight movements. You’ll be comfortable dealing with freight partners, transport providers and project teams, and confident managing high volumes of shipments in a fast-paced environment.

To be successful, you’ll bring:

- Ideally 8–10+ years' experience in logistics, freight forwarding, shipping or supply chain operations.
- Previous experience working with freight forwarders and shipping lines.
- A good understanding of Australian import and customs clearance processes, including shipping documentation.
- Experience coordinating domestic transport, trucking companies, container movements and last-mile deliveries.
- Exposure to high-volume logistics within heavy industry, infrastructure, energy, construction, manufacturing or a similar project-based environment.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the confidence to manage frequent enquiries and provide clear, timely updates.
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple shipments and competing priorities.
- Confidence using logistics tracking systems, TMS, spreadsheets and reporting tools.
