Newcastle Machine Shop is seeking an experienced and motivated Machine Shop Supervisor to lead our workshop team and oversee daily manufacturing operations.

This is an excellent opportunity for a practical, hands-on engineering professional who enjoys leading people, solving manufacturing challenges and improving workshop performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate workshop personnel.

Plan and allocate work to meet production schedules and delivery deadlines.

Monitor productivity, machine utilisation and job progress.

Provide technical support to machinists and apprentices.

Oversee CNC and conventional machining operations.

Maintain quality standards and workplace safety.

Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and productivity.

About You:

Strong CNC and conventional machining knowledge.

Previous workshop leadership experience.

Excellent communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.
