Bravo Search is partnering with Mader Group to appoint a Group Chief Financial Officer based in Perth. This permanent executive appointment reports to the CEO, with a dotted line to the Chairman, and leads finance, legal, commercial and IT functions comprising approximately 60–70 people.

The role combines strategic influence with hands‐on delivery: supporting international growth, leading acquisitions and integration, strengthening commercial performance and shaping executive and employee incentives. You will work closely with the Board and regional CFOs while building capable teams and maintaining a culture grounded in empathy and accountability.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead group financial strategy, reporting, governance, cash flow and working capital across Australian and international operations.
- Partner with the CEO and Board on performance, capital allocation, investor engagement and growth strategy.
- Lead end-to-end M&A; activity, from evaluation and due diligence through execution and integration.
- Support North American expansion and strengthen international finance capability.
- Design and model STI, LTI and employee incentive arrangements, communicating them clearly across the business.
- Oversee commercial contracts,



procurement, legal and IT, improving commercial outcomes and operational support.
- Guide ERP selection and implementation, reporting improvements and the use of Power BI.
- Develop regional leaders and teams through a practical, empathetic and accountable leadership approach.

Required Qualifications

- CA or CPA qualification and relevant tertiary qualifications.
- Experience as a CFO or equivalent senior finance leader in a substantial, complex business, ideally with annual turnover of A$500 million or more.
- ASX-listed company experience, robust Board engagement and sound financial governance.
- International operating experience; exposure to the United States is highly valued.
- A demonstrated record of completing acquisitions and delivering post-acquisition integration.
- Hands‐on experience designing, modelling and communicating remuneration and incentive structures, including LTI.
- Strong commercial judgement across contracts, procurement, systems and operational performance.
- Experience in mining services, contracting or industrial services is advantageous.
- The ability to lead with empathy, build trusted relationships and move comfortably between strategic decisions and detailed execution.
- A permanent Group CFO appointment with direct influence on the strategy of an ASX-listed international business.
