About the role

We are seeking a talented Marketing Coordinator to join the marketing team at Achmea. This is a contract position based in Sydney, NSW. As Marketing Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in supporting the development and execution of marketing campaigns and initiatives across the organisation. You will work alongside our marketing team to ensure campaigns are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest standard. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands‐on experience in a fast‐paced marketing environment whilst contributing to the success of our marketing objectives.

Key responsibilities

- Assist in the planning, development and execution of marketing campaigns across multiple channels
- Coordinate marketing materials, including written content, graphics and multimedia assets
- Manage marketing project timelines, ensuring deadlines are met and deliverables are of high quality
- Support the organisation of marketing events, webinars and promotional activities
- Conduct market research and compile data to support campaign development and strategy
- Maintain and update marketing databases, contact lists and campaign performance records




- Liaise with internal departments and external vendors to ensure smooth campaign execution
- Monitor and report on campaign performance, tracking key metrics and providing insights
- Assist with social media content scheduling and posting across company channels
- Provide administrative support to the marketing team as required

What we're looking for

- Proven experience working in a marketing or communications role, ideally in a coordinator or assistant capacity
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and marketing software (CRM platforms, email marketing tools, social media management tools)
- Knowledge of digital marketing channels and best practices
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment whilst also working independently
- Creative thinking and problem‐solving abilities
- Experience with graphic design tools or basic design principles is desirable
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications or a related field is preferred
- Familiarity with the insurance or financial services industry is advantageous
