Now picture a brand new warehouse in Richlands, stacked high with decking, fencing and screening, some of it six metres long. Every board needs to be received, counted, picked, packed and sent out on time.

I'm Allan from Itch. I'm looking for a Warehouse Supervisor to run a brand new facility for a growing national supplier of decking, fencing and screening products.

Tradies and builders depend on this warehouse. When an order goes out right, a deck gets built on time. When it doesn't, someone's standing on a slab wondering where their boards are.

What you'll be running

You'll report to the General Manager, Operations. The job is to make sure containers are receipted on time with nothing missing, and every order is picked, packed and dispatched right the first time.





You'll lead stocktakes that balance down to the last board, and you'll own safety, aiming for zero incidents and audits you're happy to be in the room for. You'll coach your team so they do well and want to stay.

You'll also work with Logistics, Procurement and Operations to fix problems before they become someone else's headache. And when you spot a better way of doing something, you'll get to put it in place.

What you'll need

- Australian citizenship or permanent residency
- A current forklift licence (HRW LF) and an open driver licence
- Solid experience in warehouse, logistics or supply chain (around 3 to 5 years), including leading a team
- Strong knowledge of inventory control and dispatch, and you're comfortable with warehouse management systems and reporting
- Hands-on experience managing safety, incidents and hazards

Experience with timber, building products or long, awkward product is a big plus.
