Description
Calling all Script Coordinators!
Are you passionate about storytelling and equipped with the organisational skills to keep a series’ scripts accurate, up to date, and moving smoothly through production? Get in touch with us at Hooligan Animation!
We’re seeking a Script Coordinator who can blend a love of story with sharp attention to detail to help bring our next animated series to the screen. You’ll be joining a talented, supportive crew who take pride in their craft, back each other up when deadlines get tight, and love what they do. If that sounds like you, we’d love to hear from you!
About the role:
The Script Coordinator is the keeper of the scripts. You’ll manage every draft and revision from outline to final record script, making sure the right version is always in the right hands. You’ll help scripts move smoothly into voice records, storyboards, and design.
Day-to-day, this includes:
- Formatting, proofing, and distributing scripts, outlines, and premises
- Managing version control and revision pages, so everyone is working from the latest draft
- Taking clear, accurate notes in writers’ room and script meetings
- Tracking and circulating notes from producers, broadcasters, and consultants
- Keeping the series bible, character lists, and continuity records up to date
- Preparing script breakdowns of new characters, locations, and props for design and production, and preparing record scripts for voice sessions
- Flagging content that may need clearance or broadcaster review
