Skills & Experience

The successful applicant should have experience and skills in:

- Book design,



including layout of book covers & internal pages, typesetting, and packaging design.
- Setting up long-document design files efficiently.
- Solid knowledge of four-colour printing processes and requirements from a design perspective.
- Setting up files for different types of embellishments
- Pre-pressing PDFs for Print
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud Suite of products, specifically InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator.

Other attributes we are looking for

- Attention to detail
- Confidence in creating new content
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Appropriate tertiary-level qualifications are essential
