People Services Advisor (HR Compliance & HRIS)

Permanent, full-time | Brisbane CBD | $80,000 - 90,000 base plus super | 1 Day WFH

About the opportunity

Are you someone who likes knowing the process is right and the data is accurate? This is a permanent People Services Advisor role within a values-driven early education organisation. It sits in a shared services team, so it is more enquiry based and compliance focused. You will be the go-to person for HR systems, onboarding and employee compliance, helping people get things right the first time.

You will report to the People Shared Services Manager and work closely with a friendly, supportive team. We are looking for someone personable, reliable and mature in their approach.

What you will be doing

- Administering the HRIS (SuccessFactors), including workflow approvals for employment changes
- Supporting new hire onboarding and resolving gaps in qualifications, Working with Children Checks, registrations or work rights
- Responding to enquiries through the HR inbox and phone line with clear, accurate and friendly guidance
- Preparing employment documentation such as contracts, letters and Individual Flexibility Arrangements
- Completing regular compliance audits and investigating queries, particularly those that affect pay




- Building reports and running monthly HRIS training sessions for managers

About you

- Studying towards or holding a Bachelor of Business or Human Resource Management or equivalent (highly desirable)
- Hands-on experience with an HRIS, ideally SuccessFactors, including capturing high volumes of employee data
- Solid Excel and Office skills, with experience in reporting and data analysis
- A clear, consistent approach to policy and process, and the confidence to hold a boundary while keeping relationships positive
- Excellent organisation and the flexibility to adapt when workloads shift
- Discretion and a high level of confidentiality when handling sensitive information
- Early education and care experience is desirable, but not essential

- Permanent, full-time, 8:30am to 5:00pm
- $90,000 base plus super
- Based in the Brisbane CBD (1 day WFH)
