About the Role

We are recruiting Casual Cleaners to join our team at a the University Of Queensland, St Lucia as a Street Sweeper Operator.

You will work as part of a supportive team to maintain clean, hygienic and safe learning environments for students, educators and staff.

What You’ll Be Doing

- Operating ride-on and walk-behind sweepers across campus roads, footpaths, car parks, plazas and outdoor spaces
- Doing daily pre-start checks, basic maintenance and refuelling or charging, and reporting faults
- Clearing leaves,



litter and debris so pathways and drains stay safe and clear
- Using blowers and hand tools to finish off areas the machine can’t reach
- Working safely around pedestrians, cyclists and vehicles, especially during busy class changeovers
- Supporting extra cleans for campus events, open days and graduations

You Should Have

- HR License Required
- Cleaning experience preferred (but not essential)
- High personal presentation and good communication skills
- Eligibility to work in Australia
- Current Police Check
- Working With Children Check
