Most litigators who've spent time in a national or large CBD firm reach a point where they know exactly how to run a matter. What they want next is the freedom to get on with it.

That's what's on offer here. You'll carry your own caseload and decide how and when the work gets done. Your principal is there when you need a second view, not to sign off every email.

There's no CBD office to commute to. You'll work from wherever suits you across Brisbane, the Sunshine Coast or the Gold Coast, and come together with the team in person once a month.

What you'll be working on
A varied disputes practice for someone who enjoys range:

- Commercial litigation (most of your caseload)
- Construction and building disputes
- Property disputes
- Employment matters

If you've done commercial property or employment work, that's a plus. Strong litigation skills come first.

The package

- A base salary that holds its own against the bigger Brisbane firms
- 25% of fees collected above your budget, paid to you




- A daily billable target of 5.5 hours, well below what most firms ask

You'll bring

- 5+ years PAE at Associate or Senior Associate level, and a current Queensland practising certificate
- A litigation grounding built at a national, mid-tier or top-tier firm
- Confidence running matters from instructions to outcome with minimal oversight
- A sense of what a file is worth, and how to keep clients coming back
- The discipline to make work from home work for you
- A practical, warm approach. You're easy to work with and you care about the people around you
