Sitting on Wambo Street since the 1850’s, the Condamine Hotel is a

solid old pub with imposing timber beams and corrugated iron.

The Condamine Hotel is now looking for a full-time Hotel Manager,

who will organise and control the operations of one of Queensland’s

premier regional hotels. The role will supervise staff, manage all

activities, handle customer service and maintain financial records.

The Hotel Manager will also play a key role in maintaining a safe and

enjoyable environment for both staff and patrons.

TASKS

- Accommodation, food and beverage services, bar, gaming,

housekeeping, maintenance and security functions.

- Promoting hotel facilities and services, managing reservations and

occupancy levels, and overseeing marketing and public relations

activities to maximise revenue and guest patronage.

- Monitoring guest satisfaction, handling guest enquiries and special

requests, and resolving complaints to maintain high standards of

customer service.

- Developing, implementing and monitoring budgets, controlling

operational costs, authorising expenditures, and maintaining financial

and business records.

- Ensuring compliance with licensing, health and safety, security, and





regulatory requirements applicable to hotel operations.

- Monitoring financial performance, preparing management reports,

analysing occupancy and revenue trends, and implementing

strategies to improve profitability.

- Recruiting, training, supervising and inspiring staff, establishing

performance standards, and managing employee performance and

workforce planning.

- Coordinating procurement of goods and services, negotiating with

suppliers and contractors, and ensuring the effective maintenance

and presentation of hotel facilities.

SALARY– $75,000 - $90,000
