The Bureau of Meteorology invites applications for a Remote Posting on Willis Island, Australia, for approximately six months. The successful candidate will lead a four-person team, manage upper and surface observations, and oversee instrument maintenance while living in an isolated setting.
Training and travel to Melbourne or other sites may be required. Departures from Cairns are planned for April 2027, with October 2027 deployments also considered.
