We are seeking an experienced, proactive QA Officer to support our food safety and quality systems. This hands-on role combines technical documentation with production-floor quality assurance.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and maintain finished product specifications and Product Information Forms (PIFs).
- Use FoodWorks to calculate nutritional information and prepare Nutrition Information Panels (NIPs).
- Review ingredient declarations, allergen statements and product labelling for compliance with the Food Standards Code.
- Review supplier specifications and technical documentation.
- Conduct GMP inspections, allergen verification and routine quality checks.
- Monitor CCPs, OPRPs, production records and traceability.
- Conduct product sampling, sensory assessments and coordinate laboratory testing.




- Investigate complaints and non-conformances, including root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Support HACCP, FSSC 22000, audits, training and continuous improvement activities.
- Previous QA experience in food manufacturing.
- Proficiency in FoodWorks and independent preparation of product specifications and NIPs.
- Sound knowledge of FSANZ labelling requirements, HACCP, GMP and allergen management.
- Experience with production-floor inspections, investigations and corrective actions.
- Robust attention to detail, organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks and follow issues through to completion.
- Food Science, Food Technology or related qualification.
- Experience with FSSC 22000 or other GFSI-recognised standards.
- Experience in spices, seasonings or dry ingredient manufacturing.
- Familiarity with ERP and traceability systems.
