Assistant Store Manager – 2 Dollar Superstore

About the Role

We are seeking a reliable, motivated and organised Assistant Store Manager to join our team at 2 Dollar Superstore.

Working alongside the Store Manager, you will assist with the day-to-day running of the store, staff supervision, stock management and general operations. You will also be responsible for creating engaging social media content to promote the store and its products.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist with the daily management and operations of the store.
- Supervise, support and delegate tasks to team members.
- Assist with staff training, rostering and general staff management.
- Maintain high standards of customer service and store presentation.
- Oversee stock replenishment, merchandising and deliveries.
- Ensure daily cleaning and operational tasks are completed.
- Assist with cash handling and occasionally complete banking duties.
- Take responsibility for the store when the Store Manager is unavailable.
- Film, edit and create engaging content for TikTok, Instagram and Facebook.




- Develop creative ideas to promote products, current arrivals and store specials.

About You

- Previous retail or supervisory experience preferred.
- Solid leadership and communication skills.
- Reliable, punctual and well-organised.
- Confident working independently and taking initiative.
- Trustworthy and comfortable handling cash.
- Creative and confident using social media.
- Able to work in a fast-paced retail environment.
