Bar Tender & Social Media/Events Coordinator
Location: Margaret River WA
Employment Type: Casual (approx. 20–25 hours per week)
Pay Rate: Award-aligned tiered rates ($33.85–$47.39) Are you a hospitality skilled who loves the buzz of a busy bar shift but also has a knack for digital storytelling and organizing local events? Our Community Club is looking for a versatile, creative multi-tasker to step into a unique hybrid role. You will be the face of our venue behind the bar on afternoons and nights, while spending some weekday time driving our social media presence and coordinating our club calendar. If you are a true people person who can shake a great cocktail, capture a high-performing Instagram Reel, and keep a community event running like clockwork, we want to hear from you. To ensure you succeed, your hours will be clearly divided into distinct, dedicated shifts. No trying to edit TikToks during a Friday night rush!

- Front of House (approx. 15–20 hours/week): Slings drinks, hosts members, and delivers top-tier hospitality.
- Administration & Creative (approx. 4-5 hours/week): A dedicated, weekday office block focused entirely on social media batching, content creation, community engagement, event logistics, and admin.

⚡ Key ResponsibilitiesBehind the Bar (FOH Operations)

- Deliver fast, friendly, and high-quality beverage service to our members and guests.
- Build genuine rapport with patrons, reinforcing our club’s welcoming community vibe.
- Maintain a clean, organized bar workspace and assist with stock management.

On the Screen (Social Media & Marketing)

- Plan, shoot, and edit engaging visual content (Reels, TikToks, Photos) highlighting club life, drink specials, and member stories.
- Manage our weekly content calendar and schedule posts using publishing tools.
- Monitor our social channels, responding to direct messages, comments, and community inquiries.





On the Floor (Events & Activations)

- Assist in coordinating weekly events and activations, (Raffles, Member's Draw, etc)
- Assist in the end-to-end planning and execution of large-scale, ticketed seasonal events.
- Liaise with external suppliers, performers, and community partners to ensure smooth event delivery.

✨ What You Bring to the Team

- Hospitality Experience: Confident bar skills with a valid WA RSA certificate. Approved Manager or Approved Manager training eligibility is a massive plus.
- Digital Savy: A strong eye for content creation, with practical experience using Canva, CapCut, or phone-based editing apps.
- Organizational Hustle: The ability to manage a spreadsheet, keep track of vendor deadlines, and stay on top of a dynamic calendar.
- Community Spirit: A warm, proactive personality. You genuinely enjoy connecting with people and bringing local community groups together.
