About the Role:

BARROW is looking for a Restaurant Manager that can manage a busy restaurant which serves food for UP TO 150 SEATS and of course our amazing functions. Showcasing a proven track record of leading by example, and a passion to deliver quality food and service consistently, the right person will:

- Collaborating with Chefs and kitchen staff to plan menus.
- Organizing special functions or promotional activities.
- Overseeing purchasing and pricing within budget constraints.
- Maintaining records of stock levels and financial transactions.
- Ensuring dining facilities meet health regulations and are clean and presentable.
- Soliciting customer feedback to gauge satisfaction with meals and service.
- Recruiting, training, and supervising waiting and kitchen staff.
- Handling reservations, welcoming guests, and assisting with orders when needed.
- Monitoring staff performance to achieve sales and expenditure targets.
- Managing restaurant/café staff schedules and rostering.

About you:

You must possess the following skills:





- Equivalent of AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma (ANZSCO Skill Level 2) plus 2 year work experience in relevant roles.
- Demonstrated ability to excel under pressure
- Ability to lead and motivate a team effectively.
- Experience in overseeing daily restaurant operations.
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and practices.
- Dedication to delivering excellent service and resolving customer issues.
- Skills in designing and updating menus to attract and retain customers.
- Proficiency in budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting.
- High Personal grooming standards
- Experience in training and developing restaurant staff.
- Knowledge of marketing strategies to increase restaurant visibility and sales.
- Amazing time management skills and work ethic
- Must have a LOVE for food and a great attitude
- Friendly and outgoing personality (Essential)
- FLEXIBLE ROSTER IS A MUST
