We are looking for a motivated and reliable 3rd or 4th Year Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Apprentice to join our small, hands-on team. Our business primarily specialises in air conditioning installation, servicing, maintenance and repairs, as well as residential electrical work. As a small business, we take pride in delivering quality workmanship, paying attention to the finer details and taking the time to do the job properly. We are looking for someone who shares these values, has a genuine interest in the air conditioning side of the trade and is keen to further develop their practical skills and work towards becoming a confident, independent technician.

You will work closely with the business owner and gain experience across a wide variety of jobs. As your skills and confidence develop, you will be given increasing responsibility and the opportunity to carry out servicing, maintenance and suitable jobs independently.

Key responsibilities:

- Assist with residential and commercial air conditioning installations.
- Carry out air conditioning servicing, preventative maintenance and repairs.
- Diagnose faults and assist with troubleshooting air conditioning systems.
- Undertake servicing, maintenance and suitable repair jobs independently where appropriate.
- Assist with residential electrical work.




- Work alongside the business owner on installations and more complex jobs.
- Maintain a high standard of workmanship, customer service and workplace cleanliness.

About you:

- Currently in your 3rd or 4th year of an Air Conditioning & Refrigeration apprenticeship.
- Have a strong interest in air conditioning installation, servicing and repairs.
- Have practical experience and confidence working with air conditioning systems.
- Able to work independently when required and comfortable taking responsibility for jobs.
- Reliable, punctual and take pride in your work.
- Have good communication skills and a professional approach when dealing with customers.
- Hold a current driver's licence.
- Keen to continue learning and developing your trade skills.
