About the Role

THE GOOD SAMARITAN CARE PTY LTD, trading as NextGen Care Services, is seeking a suitably qualified, experienced and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team in Caboolture, Queensland.

The successful applicant will be responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care and supporting the health, wellbeing and independence of aged care residents. The role requires a compassionate skilled with strong clinical knowledge, excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary care team.

Key Responsibilities

- Assess, plan, implement and evaluate individualised nursing care plans.
- Monitor residents' health conditions and respond appropriately to changes in their medical needs.
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with clinical procedures and relevant regulations.
- Conduct regular health assessments and maintain accurate clinical records.
- Coordinate with doctors, allied health professionals and other care staff.
- Provide wound care, infection prevention and other clinical nursing services.
- Support residents with chronic disease management and ongoing healthcare needs.
- Educate residents,



families and care staff about health management and wellbeing.
- Ensure compliance with relevant aged care standards, workplace health and safety requirements and organisational policies.
- Maintain residents' dignity, privacy, comfort and independence.

Essential Requirements

- Bachelor of Nursing or an equivalent recognised nursing qualification.
- Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse.
- Relevant clinical experience in aged care or a similar healthcare environment.
- Strong clinical assessment, communication and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of medication management, infection control and aged care practices.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a healthcare team.
- Current police clearance and other relevant employment screening checks.
