Automations Smart is looking for experienced smart lock installers for booked jobs across Perth and surrounding suburbs. You’ll fit locks at customers’ properties and show them how to use their new lock before you leave.

Pay and scheduling

We pay A$250 per completed standard installation. A standard lock usually takes 1.5–2 hours on site. This is subcontract work with flexible bookings. Let us know which suburbs you cover and which days you’re available.

What you’ll do

- Check the door and frame, remove the existing hardware and fit the recent smart lock. Prepare the mortice and align the strike for smooth operation.
- Set up the lock and app with the customer. Test locking, unlocking and manual key access before handover.
- Leave the door and work area tidy and show the customer how to manage access and use the backup key.

What you’ll need





- At least one year of hands-on smart lock installation experience. A recognised locksmith trade qualification is preferred.
- Your own transport and installation tools, including equipment for morticing doors.
