Full-time Cooks Required

The Daily Pour Kitchen is looking for a skilled and motivated full-time Cook to join our kitchen team in Carlisle, WA.

The successful applicant will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes, maintaining consistent food quality and supporting the smooth daily operation of our kitchen.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Preparing and cooking a variety of dishes in accordance with established recipes, menu requirements and customer orders. Examining ingredients to ensure freshness, quality and suitability for cooking. Preparing ingredients by washing, cutting, marinating, seasoning and portioning food. Operating kitchen equipment and applying appropriate cooking methods to prepare menu items. Monitoring cooking times and temperatures to ensure dishes are properly cooked. Checking the quality, taste and presentation of dishes before serving. Adjusting seasoning and cooking methods where necessary to maintain consistent food quality. Preparing meals to accommodate customer dietary requirements and special requests. Assisting with stock control,



checking ingredient supplies and ensuring proper food storage. Maintaining kitchen equipment, utensils and food preparation areas in a clean and safe condition. Following food safety procedures and maintaining hygiene standards. Working closely with other kitchen staff to ensure meals are prepared and served efficiently. Assisting with the training of junior kitchen staff in food preparation and safe food handling practices when required.

Skills and Experience:

- AQF Certificate IV or above qualification, or at least one-year of relevant work experience. Previous experience in a commercial kitchen setting. Good knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques and food safety standards. Ability to work efficiently in a busy kitchen environment. Good communication skills and a positive team-oriented attitude.

Employment Type: Full-time, 38 hours per week

Salary: AUD $79,500 – $85,000 per annum, plus superannuation.
