Senior Contracts Manager - Infrastructure Projects

Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

Depending on the position and project environment, responsibilities may include:





- Leading contract administration and commercial management across major infrastructure projects.
- Managing head contracts, subcontracts, procurement and supplier agreements.
- Overseeing contractual risk, variations, claims, extensions of time and dispute resolution.
- Supporting project directors and delivery teams with commercial strategy and contractual advice.
- Managing cost exposure, commercial reporting, forecasting and financial performance.
- Leading contract negotiations and maintaining effective relationships with clients, subcontractors and project stakeholders.
- Providing commercial leadership and mentoring contracts administration teams.
- Ensuring contractual compliance and supporting successful project delivery.

About You

- Demonstrated experience as a Senior Contracts Manager, Contracts Manager or senior commercial professional within infrastructure or construction.
- A background in civil construction, transport infrastructure, utilities or major capital projects.
- Strong working knowledge of construction contracts, contract administration and commercial risk management.
- Experience managing complex subcontract packages, claims, variations and negotiations.
- The ability to work effectively with project delivery teams and senior management.
- Sound commercial judgement, clear communication and a practical approach to resolving contractual issues.
- Relevant qualifications in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Law or a related discipline.
