Disability Support Worker - Brunswick HeadsWe have an exciting prospect for a reliable Support Worker with a "can do" attitude to provide Personal Care and Domestic Support in a private home.About you:You are a mature minded, reliable individual with a positive personality, ideally with experience in disability and in supporting individuals within their home or in a similar setting.You are flexible and can work in group setting as part of a team.You are trustworthy and have good work ethic and understand the importance of providing care with dignity and respect.You are self-motivated, calm, and looking to make an invaluable positive impact on the lives of others.About the Role:You will be working closely with me in my own home and in the community, providing care and supports which include:- Personal care- grooming,
toileting including catheter and bowel care.- Domestic assistance in daily living duties - meal preparation and shopping- Manual handling- using ceiling hoist and standing frame.- Medication and Skin management.- Community participation and appointments- Experience with SCI preferred but not essentialShifts currently on offer include but are not limited to:- x2 AM shifts during the weekFlexibility for additional support during holidays and trips away, including sleepovers.Full training will be provided as required.- Police Check compulsory- You must have the right to live and work in Australia.- Must have a driver's license- Valuable communication (written and verbal)- Local to Brunswick Heads preferrable.Preferred Qualifications- Cert III Disability or Aged CarePlease have your location (suburb) on your resume as this helps us better understand your proximity to potential work locations.#J-18808-Ljbffr
