Location: Springfield Lakes QLD 4300 Salary: $80,000 per annum + superannuation Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent Golden House Vietnamese & Chinese Restaurant is seeking a passionate, reliable and experienced Cook to join our team in Springfield Lakes.

- *Key Responsibilities:**
- Prepare and cook a variety of Vietnamese and Chinese dishes.
- Maintain high standards of food quality, taste, presentation and consistency.
- Check ingredients for quality and freshness.
- Prepare meals according to customer dietary requirements.
- Manage kitchen tasks efficiently during busy service periods.
- Maintain a clean, organised and hygienic kitchen.
- Monitor food stock levels and assist with ordering supplies.
- Follow food safety and workplace health and safety requirements.




- Work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house staff.
- Assist the chef with menu planning and development.
- *Requirements:**
- Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of experience working as a Cook in a commercial restaurant or similar environment.
- Strong cooking and food preparation skills.
- Knowledge of Vietnamese and Chinese cuisine and ingredients.
- Experience with wok cooking.
- Positive knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
- Strong time management, communication and teamwork skills.
- Attention to detail and a passion for cooking.
- Availability to work weekends.
