STRIPLEA PTY LTD We are seeking an experienced, qualified full-time Chef to join Three Double8 Zero Pizza Bar & Grill in Paynesville, Victoria.

The successful applicant will have 3–4 years of commercial kitchen experience, a Certificate IV in Kitchen Management, strong skills in Modern Australian cuisine and breakfast preparation, and sound knowledge of HACCP. The role involves menu planning, food preparation, cooking, kitchen supervision and maintaining food quality and safety standards. Applicants must be willing to relocate to the regional area and work five days per week.

The successful applicant will be responsible for: Planning and developing menus featuring Modern Australian cuisine, including breakfast dishes, while estimating food and labour costs and ordering required supplies. Preparing, seasoning and cooking a variety of dishes using appropriate cooking techniques and ensuring consistent food quality and presentation. Monitoring the quality of ingredients and finished dishes at all stages of food preparation, cooking and presentation.

Demonstrating cooking techniques, advising kitchen staff on cooking procedures and assisting with staff training. Coordinating and supervising daily kitchen operations to ensure efficient food preparation and timely meal service. Managing food supplies, monitoring stock levels, controlling portion sizes and minimising food wastage.





Monitoring food costs and assisting management with kitchen budgets and operational efficiency. Implementing and monitoring HACCP-based food safety, workplace health, hygiene and sanitation procedures. Ensuring correct food handling, storage, temperature control and cleanliness of kitchen equipment and work areas.

Liaising with management, suppliers and front-of-house staff regarding menu requirements, food preparation and daily kitchen operations. Qualification & experience Applicants must meet the following requirements: Hold a Certificate IV in Kitchen Management or an equivalent relevant qualification. Have 3–4 years of full-time professional experience in a commercial kitchen.

Demonstrated experience in preparing and cooking Modern Australian cuisine. Previous experience working as a Breakfast Chef. Strong knowledge of commercial kitchen operations, food preparation and cooking techniques.

Positive understanding of HACCP principles, food safety and hygiene standards. Experience in stock control, ordering supplies and food cost management. About Company
