· Preparing the area to be painted through placing scaffolding, ladders and drop sheets
· Preparing surfaces for painting (e.g. sanding, filling, gapping, taping)
· Selecting the correct paints for the specific area depending on the surface and accurately mixing and tinting paints, stains, and other materials to achieve the required colour and consistency.
· Applying paint, varnish, wallpaper, and other finishes to various surfaces using brushes, rollers and spray guns
· Collaborating with clients to understand their vision and provide expert advice
· Maintaining a clean and organised work area, as well as ensuring tools and equipment are kept in valuable condition
· Adhering to safety protocols and regulations at all times
