The Opportunity

We’re seeking an experienced and commercially driven Senior Leasing Manager to join our team and take a leading role in leasing across our diversified property portfolio.

Working directly with senior management, you’ll be responsible for driving leasing outcomes across retail, office, industrial and hospitality assets throughout Melbourne and regional Victoria.

This is a senior, hands-on position suited to an established leasing skilled with a proven track record in negotiating transactions, building tenant relationships and delivering strong commercial outcomes.

You’ll have the autonomy to manage transactions from initial enquiry through to lease execution, while contributing to broader asset and leasing strategies across the portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead leasing activity across a diversified portfolio of commercial properties, including shopping centres, office buildings and industrial.

- Proactively source and secure new tenants, negotiate lease renewals and manage existing tenant relationships.

- Independently negotiate commercial terms, incentives, rent reviews and lease transactions through to execution.

- Develop and implement leasing strategies to minimise vacancies, maximise rental income and enhance asset performance.

- Maintain and leverage strong relationships with national retailers,



commercial occupiers, external leasing agents and industry contacts.

- Identify opportunities to improve tenancy mix, reposition assets and generate rental growth.

- Prepare and assess leasing proposals, heads of agreement, financial assessments and commercial recommendations.

- Oversee leasing pipelines, vacancy reporting, transaction progress and leasing performance.

- Work closely with the asset management, property management and development teams to achieve broader portfolio objectives.

- Provide market intelligence and strategic leasing advice to senior management, including input into acquisitions and development opportunities.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for an experienced leasing professional who can take ownership of transactions, work autonomously and consistently deliver results.

The successful candidate will ideally have:

- Minimum 7 years' experience in commercial property leasing, with a demonstrated track record of successfully negotiating and completing transactions.

- Strong experience in retail, office and/or industrial leasing, ideally with exposure to multiple asset classes.

- An established network of relationships with tenants, occupiers, retailers and commercial leasing agents.

- Excellent negotiation skills and strong commercial and financial acumen.





- A thorough understanding of commercial lease structures, incentives, rental assessments and relevant Victorian leasing legislation.

- Demonstrated ability to independently manage multiple leasing transactions and competing priorities.

- A proactive, results-driven approach with strong business development and relationship management capabilities.

- Excellent communication skills, attention to detail and professional presentation.

- Experience with a private property owner, institutional landlord or established commercial property agency will be highly regarded.

- A relevant property qualification and current driver's licence.
