About the Company

Listed in the USA, with Australia being a big contributor to the bottom line they are looking for someone to lead, direct and progress a pro-active team. With continued success guaranteed, they are seeking a Financial Reporting Manager to take charge of the technical accounting and reporting.

With a mandate to set the bar high, be across SOX compliance and IFRS reporting you will work closely with the Head of Finance and external consultants to add sophistication and automation to a Tier 1 reporting framework.

About the Role
As a Financial Reporting Manager, you will support a very proactive and broad Controller to rebuild and enhance existing monthly reports, take charge of disclosures, internal controls and other statutory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare technical accounting position papers on complex topics, including SOX.





- Manage the external audit process and act as a key point of contact for auditors

- Analyse and interpret accounting standards, advising on new requirements and their impact on financial reporting

- Drive continuous improvement across reporting processes, systems, and financial controls

- Review complex reconciliations, journals, and support the month-end close process with a high level of accuracy

- Manage regulatory reporting obligations, liaising with internal/external auditors and supporting audit readiness

About You:

You will be CA/ CPA qualified, have had experience in a Big 4/ Mid-Tier firm, positive understanding of complex accounting standards and have proven stakeholder engagement skills. Experience using SAP highly desirable as is previous leadership experience.
