Chisholm Dental Surgery is a long-established, community-focused practice entering an exciting new chapter. Under new owner Dr Cheng Zhang, we’re expanding from two to four surgeries and bringing in contemporary technology, including 3D scanning, 3D printing and CBCT imaging. We’re looking for someone who is keen to learn and wants to grow with us.

How we’ll train you

You’ll work through a structured training program developed with an experienced dental practice coach. You’ll learn alongside our team at a steady pace and won’t be thrown in the deep end. We’ll also support you to complete your Certificate III in Dental Assisting.

What you’ll learn





- Assisting the dentist chairside during a wide range of treatments

- Setting up and preparing surgeries so everything runs smoothly

- Infection control and instrument sterilisation to Australian standards

- Looking after patients from the moment they arrive

- Reception and front desk skills

What we offer

- Casual position to start, moving to full-time for the right person

- Starting hours flexible and discussed at interview

- $30–$35 per hour + super, plus 25% casual loading while employed casually, based on skills and experience

- Weekday hours
