The Active West Physiotherapy Centre is an independent private practice which has been offering exceptional Physiotherapy services to the local community for over 25 years. We are seeking a vibrant and enthusiastic part-time receptionist to join our friendly team in Blacktown. In this role, you will be the face of our practice, providing exceptional customer service to our patients and supporting the smooth running of our physiotherapy clinic.
What we offer
- A wonderful working setting that’s fun and dynamic with friendly, supportive staff
- Approximately 25 -30 hours per week over 3-4 days with the ability to help cover extra hours on the odd occasion when other admin staff are sick or on leave.
What you'll be doing
- Greeting patients and visitors in a warm and welcoming manner
- General reception duties including: answering phones, booking appointments, handling patient enquiries and providing information about our services
- Processing payments from patients via HICAPS, Eftpos, and Medicare
- Performing administrative tasks such as filing,
data entry, and managing patient records
- Assisting the physiotherapy team with various duties as needed
- Maintaining a clean and organised reception area
What we're looking for
- Strong communication skills with clearly spoken English
- You must be reliable with high levels of motivation and initiative
- The ability to calmly deal with several matters at once with exceptional face-to-face and phone communication skills
- Knowledge of Word, Outlook and Excel with the ability to learn practice management software specific to the physiotherapy profession
- A friendly, professional, and welcoming demeanour
- Previous receptionist role in a healthcare setting is preferred, but not essential
