About the Role

We're looking for an Area Manager to lead our NSW talent team. You'll lead our Talent Managers and Talent Assistants across Sydney, own the region's revenue, and set the standard for how ODd represents talent in NSW. You'll report to our CEO and hold a senior seat in a founder-led agency where your calls shape the region.

This role is equal parts leader, commercial operator, and talent advocate. You'll make the team better every week - and still be the person brands and senior talent want in the room.

Who You Are

- A leader people want to work for - warm, direct, and comfortable having the honest conversation face to face.

- Five or more years in talent management, influencer marketing, PR or media, with at least two years leading a team.

- Commercially switched on - you've hit revenue targets through the people you lead, not just on your own.

- A confident negotiator with brands and talent, with a working knowledge of talent contracts.

- Culturally dialled in - you know who's rising before the rest of the market does.

- Agile, proactive, and cool under pressure - you thrive when things move quick.

Leading the Team

- Lead, coach and develop our NSW Talent Managers and Talent Assistants.

- Set clear targets and coach the team on pitching,



negotiation and building stronger rosters.

- Have the honest conversations that keep a team performing - and back your people when it counts.

Talent and Roster

- Sign new talent with a commercial eye and build a roster that grows across the region.

- Make sure every talent feels supported, valued, and proud to be represented by ODd.

Commercial Growth

- Own NSW revenue, with a monthly incentive against the state target on top of base.

- Look after senior brand and agency relationships, and open new ones.

- Spot the partnerships that fit our talent and our values - and close them with confidence.

What Success Looks Like

- The NSW team is hitting target and getting better quarter on quarter.

- Your Talent Managers are growing in confidence and capability under your leadership.

- Talent across the roster are growing, thriving, and proud to be represented by ODd.

- Brands see ODd NSW as their first call, not one option of many.

Qualifications and Experience

- Demonstrated experience leading a talent, influencer, PR or media team to revenue targets.

- Strong understanding of the creator economy, social platforms and talent contracts.

- Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.

- A Sydney or Brisbane brand and agency network is highly desirable.
