About Us
Level One Psychology is an established multidisciplinary practice on the Sunshine Coast in Sippy Downs (within the Ochre Medical Centre), with a second clinic in Caloundra. Our team of psychologists, clinical psychologists, sport and performance psychologists and mental health social workers supports children, adolescents, adults and families. Alongside therapy, we have a strong focus on Autism, ADHD and cognitive assessments, trauma-focused therapy, and sport and performance psychology. The Role
We are seeking a Psychologist, Clinical Psychologist, or Sport Psychologist to join our Sippy Downs team on a contractor basis, providing psychological assessment and intervention to individuals who are facing clinical issues and/or those who are seeking to improve their quality of life.

We would particularly love to hear from psychologists with an interest in child and adolescent psychology, Autism, ADHD and cognitive assessments, or sport and performance psychology.

Both experienced and newly registered psychologists are encouraged to apply.

Selection Criteria
Essential:

- A relevant tertiary qualification in psychology (e.g. Master of Clinical Psychology, Master of Professional Psychology, Master of Sport and Exercise Psychology, or equivalent pathway to general registration)

- Registration with AHPRA

- A warm, professional, and approachable interpersonal manner

- Eligibility to provide services as a Medicare Provider

- The ability to work autonomously

- Experience working with a variety of clinical issues. We have a range of referrals for our practitioners to see children, adolescents, and adults - however we recognise that not all populations are a focus for all psychologists





- Commitment to evidence-based therapies and continued professional development

- Ability to communicate and form strong relationships with GPs, referring agencies, schools and reception staff

- Initiative, problem-solving skills and professionalism

- High personal and qualified ethical standards

- A current Blue Card (Working with Children Check), or eligibility to obtain one

- Eligibility to secure an ABN and valid professional indemnity and public liability insurance

Desirable:

- Ability to navigate an electronic case notes system and keep detailed, accurate notes

- Experience in, or an interest in developing skills in, Autism, ADHD and/or cognitive assessments, including administering standardised measures and writing clear, family-friendly reports

- Experience working with children, adolescents and their families

- An area of interest or specialty. This may be trauma, anxiety, health or sport-related, for example. Along with the clinical element of our company, which is the most dominant component, Level One Psychology also has an arm which has a sport psychology focus. Therefore sport psychologists, or those individuals with a Masters of Sport and Exercise Psychology, are also encouraged to apply

- Clinical or Sport and Exercise Psychology area of practice endorsement, or progress through a registrar program
